Mom hates baby name, telling hubs no

We have 5 year boy and I want something similar to his name. 5 year olds name is Owen.

I love the name Nolan. I asked hubs what he thought about the name and he said that’s fine if he can pick the middle name. I told him im fine with it. 3 weeks later we decided to tell his mom the name. She said she doesn’t like the name and said we should go with something like Robert after my husbands grandpa. After we have already decided on name.

Now out of nowhere my husband wants to change the name to be this grandpas name. I refused! I hate the name. I feel like they have both push me to the side and decided on the name without me. Today i was talking to his mom and send a picture of Nolan. She asked me why Im calling my own son that name. I responded and said because that is the name we’re going with. She again said I don’t like it its to close to Owen. Im just so pissed. I feel as if she is brain washing my husband about a name we have already decided on!
