Husband Ruins My Happy Day

Soooo after 6 yrs of trying to conceive today is finally the day!! I got my positive y’all!! My boobs are swollen and tender but this is normal as my boobs swell and get tender when my cycle comes however my cycle was 4 days late and it’s never late I was so afraid to test and I didn’t wanna get let down again. I recently got a promotion at work and it’s kind of demanding so I chalked my cycle being late up to stress and it would come. Finally I just couldn’t take it anymore so I took a test and it was positive!! My husband was out but had text he would be heading home soon. Well of course soon turned into an hour and I’m just so anxious for him to come home so I can tell him I text and ask when he would be home because we needed to talk. I wanted him to think he was in trouble so I could surprise him with the positive test. Sure enough he came home already in a defensive mood when I pulled the test he thought I was joking! Finally it set in that I was serious and instantly he lit up. Now I’m thinking this joyous thing has just happened he and I are about to rejoice in it right? Wrong! He says he’s happy and can’t believe it and then says ok well I’m going to head back out. So of course I’m like I just told you the best news ever and you’re literally headed back out. Y’all tell me if I’m wrong but shouldn’t he have stayed shouldn’t he have wanted to be there with me? Or am I being dramatic?
