Trying acupuncture for part of my holistic remedies

I have PCOS & TTC. I feel like I don’t ovulate as a woman & feel like getting pregnant will not come that easy for me. Decided to try acupuncture as I’m into holistic and eastern medicine. I am learning a lot about my body from my acupuncturist. He told me my heart doesn’t get enough water to it so it has to work extra hard (that’s why I have to pee so much) also my liver, kidney, & heart are not in sync with each other. The liver and kidney are actually connected to the reproductive system. I have never been told that by a western doctor before. I also have a “dampness” energy in my body. Aka fluid filler cysts on my ovaries 😑 My acupuncturist specializes in female health and reproduction. I was asking him if he had patients trying to get pregnant before and acupuncture worked for them. He said yes. He told me of a woman that had four miscarriages and was considered a “healthy” female no PCOS and finally got pregnant. I decided it was worth a shot. Needles are placed at particular pressure points in the body. The needles are supposed to tap into your “Qi” pronounced (chee) & balance your hormones and get your blood flowing to proper places. I am starting to love my sessions. I’m going to try it 5x and see if any big changes happen. Has anyone else tried acupuncture? Had success with it? I’ve been doing tons of research and trying holistic remedies to help with PCOS.

Pics below are of my 2nd session. He places the needles on particular points. This time we worked on gynecology points. He usually informs me of the points when inserting the needles. I then get a heat lamp turned on my stomach and he leaves it he room for 30-40 mins to which I knock out and have the best sleep of my life. I feel like I go to another world when I fall asleep! “Never underestimate the body to heal itself”✨
