Middle name or ?

So me and my fiancé talk about when we have kids what their names will be. So for the boy we want to name him the 3rd my fiancé is a Jr, BUT we want to add a middle name that way when we go around his dad and the family they don’t get confused and can call our son by his middle name. Does it just ruin the continuance of the name or is it no biggy? Thoughts?

If you’re adding, you’re changing it. My husband is a 3rd. All of them have the same exact name. 
If you want a 3rd then it should really be the same name. They can go by a nick name if you prefer.

Yeah, I mean technically he won't have the same name so he's not a III. But it's totally your call and really can do whatever you want❤️

Being III isn’t a legal status, so there’s no requirements. You can do whatever you want. If you call him a third, he’s a third.
I think it sounds nice to give him one name that’s just his.
