Tired of confusion...

Our first year ttc has ended in one chemical pregnancy, and lots of confusion. Two doctors, conflicting test results and more confusion.

First doc said if we’re not preg in 6 months come back, so set my expectations high for quick success rates. She checked progesterone & ovarian reserves said everything was normal. Didn’t appreciate her lack of involvement in the trends I’ve found in my cycle so I got a new doc.

After our first meeting she said my progesterone is definitely low and would not have confirmed ovulation at all at their practice. My result she took was 0.3 a week after ovulation.

I’ve struggled with positive opks for 3 weeks from every cycle, used to be 28 days then stretched to 31, then 33, then 35, and now progressively more like 35-37.

Next up is an HSG test and progesterone treatments, but they still sound like something else is off other than progesterone as my FSH was a little higher than should be.

To have the HSG I have to have a period, and now I’m 2-3 days late. Just sharing my story & if you’ve had similar struggles I’d love to hear your results ❤️
