How Ovulation Test work

Hi ladies! I have seen a lot of people on here with some misunderstandings about OPKs and I thought I’d make a quick post. Ovulation Predictor Kits test the urine for luteinizing hormone. This hormone signals to the ovary to release the egg. When you get a peak on your test strip there is enough hormone in your system for the egg to be released. When you see the peak it doesn’t mean you are ovulating. The egg will be release 12-36 hours after you see a peak. I really hope this helps someone! Baby dust to us all💕💕
