If baby isn’t nursing for long, will it effect my supply?

My son hasn’t been wanting to nurse for very long lately and I’m wondering if it will effect my supply

He may just have gotten more efficient at nursing. The older they get the more the muscles have developed that they use to nurse. He may not nurse as long because he nursed better.

As long as your baby is a good eater he/she could be full faster. So your supply wont be effected. I usually keep my duaghter awake for at least 10min at the breast so I'm sure shes gotten enough.

Everyone is different. I know people who can keep supply up without pumping.  I need to pump or I won’t have enough for my baby.

No.  If he’s eating until he’s satisfied, then you’ll continue to make what he asks for.  Some babies are efficient at the breast.  My second only nursed for 10 minutes at a time and she was a very chubby baby.
