C section painful sex??

Hey mommas! I’m 7 weeks postpartum. I was cleared to resume normal activity and we had sex for the first time and it was so painful!! I didn’t have a vaginal delivery, but the opening of my vagina hurts SO bad. We had to stop :( could it just be because we haven’t had sex in so long? It feels like the bottom opening part of my vagina is about to tear or something. Idk. :/ any ideas?

I just did for the first time a few days ago. C section . Was super tight and sore . We used A LOT of lube and took it really slow, little bit at a time. Stopped, more lube if needed. Lol until all the way in and went slow until everything relaxed!

(My ob perscibed me estrogen cream bc my stitches were irritating all the dry skin down there, I noticed everything fluff up after that)
