Do you have a best friend (not counting your SO)?

I feel inadequate lately because I don’t have a “best friend”.. I have family, a church group, some friends I see every now and then.. but not a best friend. I just wonder how common that is. Some women have like four different best friends. I don’t even have one. I’m 25.

I'm very fortunate and grew up with a group of girls (12 if us). We've been friends since elementary school and now in our 30's.
I couldn't imagine life without them, I dont know how girls don't have girlfriends.
With that being said, I've never had to make friends.. I have work friends, mom friends... but they're more just casual friends, it would be weird to try to start real deep friendships as a adult

Eh kinda sorta. I do have that traditional let go out and do things al the time kinda best friend but o have some one I talk to almost daily and her husband is my husband best friend since childhood and we have kids really close in the same age. So I’d say she’s pretty damn close to best friend status .

I have family and one friend. Thats it. We don't talk enough to consider her a best friend, we go months at a time without contact. I generally don't like people though so i'm happy this way 🤷‍♀️

Eh, not really. I was best friends with my mom, but I’ve started drifting away because I’ve gotten my own ideas and relate more to my SO. I tend to get more opinionated than my mom can handle, and I normally feel restrained.

I dont really have a best friend. I have 2 SIL and we hang out when i go and visit but the kids are around, its a big fam. I sometimes get jealous cuz my husband has work friends that he goes out w occasionally and im at home w the baby. Its sometimes lonely. I have a siter but we have a bad relationship so i never talk to her but i do talk to my mom alot.

I have a best friend. We met while we were suffering through daycare even though we were too old to be there because our moms worked there and didn’t want us to be home alone. 
So, we became absolute best freaking friends and have been for 11 years. My ride or die 🤣 we grew apart as adults, but we do very randomly hang out and judge each others life choices because we’ve earned the right to lmfao. Might not be attached at the hip anymore, but when we hang out it’s like no time has passed. 
She’s literally the most interesting person I’ve ever known. She lived in a hut made out of mud in the mountains or some shit with a native tribe somewhere in another part of the world for a freaking year even though the bugs ate her alive and her bed was made out of grass.. just because she wanted the life experience.  Her room is decorated with all the art that the people there gave to her as a parting gift. I did not believe her until she showed me pictures. 
I mean... come on. 
So that’s what she’s off doing while I’m being a weird potato
