How did/do you know??

Question

How do you know when you're done having babies or when to add another member to the family??
I have been stuck in limbo.. I have no idea if there is another spirt meant for our family or if we are complete.. and I can't make any permanent decisions(TTC or Vasectomy for the hubs)

I have 2 daughters and we had originally said we wanted 3 or more kids. For me I decided to be done because of how hard my last pregnancy was. In my second pregnancy I had a 17 week loss. And in my 3rd pregnancy I had a lot of complications and ended up spending 9 weeks on hospital bed rest. She was born at 36 weeks and thankfully is perfectly healthy. My pregnancy was so hard on me and my husband I just know I can not go through that ever again.
At the end of my pregnancy i started to feel sad knowing i would never be pregnant again and this would be our last baby. I thought it would be hard after she was born as well and i would feel sad and still want more kids. However, ever since she was born I have felt perfectly happy. I feel like my family is complete now. Like we where just missing her and now that she is here everything is right. 
I'm not sure if I would have still felt this way if things had been different and we hadn't diceded to be done after her or if I feel this way because we decided to be done and I have just found a way to be happy with it. Either way we are happy with 2 and my husband is getting a vasectomy.

After I had my second son I really wanted to try for a girl my husband didn’t want anymore but after 2.5yr of convincing him he agreed.. I felt like if I didn’t at least try I would of always regretted it. Obviously I would of been happy to have another boy as my boys are amazing but I wouldn’t of had anymore after then if we didn’t get our girl. I’m was blessed to give birth to our 1st daughter and now I feel our family complete. Our boys love there little sister (they both said they wanted a girl when I was pregnant) so we all got what we wanted. 😍

Seriously. I think this is a bigger struggle for me than what I thought was the huge struggle of knowing when the timing was right to start our family!
