How long does hCG stay in your system?

Question

Today makes exactly one month since I found out my baby stopped growing. The baby was measuring 6 weeks but I didn't find that out until my ultrasound at 10 weeks and I had a D&C done the next day. My doctor told me everything went fine and that we could try again after 2 weeks of pelvic rest. I bled for about 3 days then just spotted. Then I had period like cramps but I only had light brown discharge (sorry TMI) for about a week. So I'm not sure if I could say that was my period or not 😕
 When I found out I was pregnant the "pregnant" line on the test was so dark it actually pulled dye from the control line. 
Well this morning I took another test because it's driving me crazy not knowing what my levels are doing...and it's still this positive. Is it possible for levels to still be that high after a month?

I know with a natural miscarriage you can have hcg in your system between 4-6 weeks after not sure how that goes with d&c because they remove everything that day and then it's just bleeding I believe. I would at the very least call your dr. If it's not normal they will bring you in and blood test! Good luck! I got pregnant two weeks after a miscarriage with this little guy! He's 1 now!

Well, blood work came back with high enough levels that I have to go back in 2 days to see if they have gone up. My fingers are crossed, but I'm trying to tell myself it's just residual from the pregnancy so I don't get upset 😕

So I started spotting yesterday and my period started full force this morning 😕
I'm still going to do the second round of blood work tomorrow just to see if my period has my levels going down faster. I'm keeping my head up though, with the procedure being 4 weeks ago it looks like my body went right back on track!

I had a d&E at 8 weeks on August 14. I still have hCG in my body. I was tested on 9/21 and it was 94, and on 9/30 it was 52 (I bled in between those 2 tests). I have to get tested again in a few days, and have had residual bleeding (brownish, deep red, clots) over the past week+. It's frustrating!

Sorry for your loss. I had a MC as well found out at 8 w my baby stopped growing at 6 w as well it took about a week and a half for me to get a neg preg test that's how I knew my levels were down.

I had a d&c on October 13. Went for my post op yesterday afternoon. The doctor told me it was a good thing I had the d&c bc the gestational sac that was left was starting to break down. She told me that could have caused an infection that could make me not have any children in the future. Thank god he led me to make the decision to have the d&c done. While I was at the doctor they took my blood to test my hcg levels. Got a call today telling me my levels were back to normal. No Af yet. Still waiting. Going to try again around the beginning of the year just to make sure that I'm healed a little more. Good luck. :)

Well, I took another test this morning before I went and did blood work. It's a different brand but I can see a really faint line 😕 
the blood work came back that my levels were still at 26 and last week they were at 52. So my period made it drop in half. How much longer will this take?!?! And does anyone know if you can ovulate before it goes to zero?? I've been having a lot of EWCM lately

I went right back to zero 13 days after my ectopic; I was 7 weeks along.

Mine took 5 weeks or so. I was only 5 weeks when I lost the baby.
