My husband is planning to take three months parental leave. But his manager is asking him to take six months so the department can hire a replacement. Apparently his department won’t hire for three months leave and we are financially unable to do six months. THEN his manager said just submit the paper work for six months but my husband can change his mind anytime.

What would you do? I don’t have good feeling about submit paper for six month but only actually taking three months off. Helps please thanks!
