Trying Something Different
Second time Moms (or Moms of more kids) what are you trying differently this time or what is something that you are doing the same. Each baby is completely different of course and doing something different doesn't mean it was wrong the first time. Just interested!
For me:
With my first I was OBSESSED with sleep. To the point I'd get incredibly frustrated and anxious around nap time. My daughter was SO happy and I'd spend endless hours trying to get her to sleep and constantly looking up "awake time for ... months". This time I'm trying to go more with the flow and just do what's making my baby happy. I've had far less anxiety this time around and it's working for our family.
Something I'm doing the same is always trying to be completely engaged when I'm playing or doing something with her. Putting everything else to the side. For the most part, I also have a 3 year old. 😂
