So overwhelmed with baby's gas!

Nothing I do seems to help for more than 10 minutes. He is almost 4 weeks and is constantly screaming in pain and bringing his legs up to his chest. We can get some gas out with bicycle legs and gas drops. We are also using gripe water. I attempt to burp him during and after feedings - resulting in a burp about half the time. I do my best to ensure that no air is getting in while breastfeeding or bottle feeding. I honestly don't know what else I can do. I will be talking with his pediatrician on Monday at his 4 week appointment. Any ideas of what I can do? Does he need to switch to formula if that is more gentle? I feel so bad watching him be on such pain 😢😥
