What is your opinion when it comes to moms who are members who work fulltime?

My mom was a single parent who had 3 kids and worked full time. My opinion is that they are wonderful and Heavenly Father sees their struggles and loves them. What else is there to say?!

I don't think i'm entitled to an opinion on the subject unless it is whether or not I myself will work as a mom. Situations are different for every family.  Some may be blessed enough to have husbands who make plenty of money for the family. Others might need two incomes. My opinion is that it's none of my business what other moms do. You do what's right for your own family and let other moms do the same. They know better than anyone else.

I think it's a different world we live in today. I'll have to work at least for a while, while I have children. I know it's not going to make me any less of a mom and I just feel grateful I can do whatever is best for my baby. Whatever that may be.

I don't think I have an opinion on that. Just because they are doing everything they can to provide for their family. Maybe they enjoy their job and if the do that is great. All good moms are just trying their best no matter the religion.

Religion has nothing to do with work unless you have lots of kids but not necessarily that”if you work full time with kids its a bad thing” 😑

No judgment from me! As long as your children know they are loved and get taught good morals and values, it doesn't matter to me who works and who doesn't. It's not my business.

No opinion. When I hear that a mom works full time nothing crosses my mind.

With that said, I have worked full time as a mom, currently part time and soon won't be working at all because of maternity leave and then just a few hours a week after that because I'm choosing to. We are no longer in a situation where I have to work but I really like my job and I can do a few hours a week from home when it's convenient.

I choose to work because I enjoy it and because for many years my husband would have needed to work ridiculously long hours and never see us if I didn't work.  We'd rather both shoulder that responsibility and both get to enjoy our family.  We have been very fortunate that we have our kids typically only spend a few hours a day with a sitter.  I recently graduated with my masters degree and the only option now is full time.  I'm not excited about it, but hopefully it will be temporary and with the extra money we will be able to do many fun things as a family.

My husbands mom worked full time my husbands whole life. They couldn't afford for her not to. And quite frankly she probably would have lost her mind. My mom started working full time once all of us could take care of ourselves. I think it's good for moms. If you guys financially need you to work or you yourself need to work there's nothing wrong with it.

I feel like I have a different perspective on this bc I grew up with a working mom. I think balance is really important. As long as you are able to take care of your kids, including spending sufficient time, then it's not a big deal at all. My mom worked 80+ hrs a week & that was hard on our family. Moderation & balance are important. (Note, this is excluding single mom's/dad's etc. I haven't experienced that in the same way most who have single parents do, so I don't feel I can comment on it)
