Metformin maybe working??
Kind of a long story so I'm sorry ladies. I had my dd in Dec 2015 got mirena iud Feb 2016 but got it out in May 2018 cause we wanted to start ttc baby number 2. Well I didn't have any periods without the help of taking provera to induce my monthlys. Then in June of 2019 I got tired of having to take something that doesn't help regulate my period so I called for an obgyn appointment. They told me there's only a couple things that could be happening. They did lab work and asked my symptoms and seen my history of very absent periods on my own. So they diagnosed me with pcos. I literally got depressed/angry (not at them they done all they could). So they put me on metformin. I'm now on month 3 of taking 2,000mg daily. And my last 2 cycles has been 22 to 25 days. And I've noticed this cycle I'm cramping on one side only. So I'm hoping it has somewhat regulated my cycles. And just for some info I don't have an insulin issue or any of that just absent monthlys , and some unwanted hair growth and also a little higher level of androgens(sorry about spelling). Have you ladies taken metformin and finally got regular? Any positive stories? Any advice? Thank u ladies.
