Decongesting baby ??

Question

Advice on decongesting my baby? I use saline solution and use the nose frida and get quite a bit of snot and booger’s out but she seems congested more in her chest and nose still. Help!

If you think it’s in her chest I would take her to the doctor just to make sure her lungs are clear. Other than that all I can recommend is sitting in a bathroom with a hot shower going and also getting a humidifier for her room.

If you don't have a humidifier (cool mist) I would try that. We use that at night and it seems to help a lot. Also letting the shower run and having the baby in the room helps.

I always sit my baby in this little seat outside the shower

while I take a shower and I think the steam helps with his coughs and runny nose.
