Bottle Feeding at Daycare

Am

My almost 8 week old is now only formula fed and has always been a “snack feeder”. He often will only eat 2oz at a time, then have another 2oz in 30-60 minutes. I’ve been trying my best over the last month to stretch out the time between feeds and get him to eat more at a time but most often it doesn’t work. He gets fussy and refuses the bottle (even after lots of burping). Sometimes when he does this he’s still showing hunger cues so my thought is that pain from reflux is preventing him from eating more at a time.

We’ve tried 6 different bottles, different nipple flow rates, and different formula. Recently the problem was even worse when we tried a new kind so now he is back with Similac For Spit Up.

He is getting enough food and gaining weight well but I’m actually mostly concerned about how daycare will do with feeding him when he starts in a month. He requires a lot of time/attention for burping and to finish his bottle... and if he isn’t upright after eating, the amount of spit up is just insane. Does anyone have experience with this? Was your daycare able to handle your baby without complaints? Lol

It’s also very hard to time out everything for appointments/errands since he eats almost hourly during the day. :/

Update: I will be talking to his pediatrician next week as well :)
