When to stop breastfeeding?

I'm 32 and I have a 14 month old daughter. My husband and I want another baby (maybe 2 more) but I'm still breastfeeding and haven't gotten my period back yet. I think I'll have to wean in order to get my period. 
What would you do if you were in my place? I'm not super young so time is not really on my side.

You can get pregnant while breastfeeding even if your period hasnt come back. I would try first without weaning and if you're having troubles then consider weaning. WHO recommends breastfeeding until 2

32 is super young. Don’t panic! I just had a baby at 43. Feed as long as you want to. Xx

I disagree you CAN get pregnant without stopping but without a period you're probably not ovulating due to the prolactin in your system. The choice is yours but it's likely it will come back soon without weaning as baby is likely eating more solids and less boob

My period came back at 21 months while I was still breastfeeding my son. As your baby continues to eat more & more solids, your period will likely come back at some point. I'm now 20w pregnant & my son (2y7mo) still nurses before nap & bedtime. (Also, I'm 35.)

I never got my period back after my first son. I was on the mini pill for 9 months after I had him and we decided to start trying for the next. I got pregnant the first month and I was EBF at the time and continued to nurse my son until I was 5 months pregnant. You can definitely get pregnant while still breastfeeding, I only stopped because pregnancy made my nipples so incredibly sensitive that it was really bothering me, and my son was already 15 months and only nursing once a day at that point.

My daughter breastfed for 2 years and I didn’t have a period at all for the first year and very sporadic during the second year like every 3-4 months maybe sometimes as long as 6 months. When she weaned herself at 2, my periods still didn’t come back with any regularity, I wasn’t ovulating even after weaning. It took a year of trying and 3 rounds of Letrozole with trigger shots to become pregnant again. I am 35. 
Other people have much better success but that’s just my story.
