Military moms

I have a 2 month old and want to join the Navy, for the better for me and daughter. I can’t do anything until she is 6 months. But also am scared she will forget me if I leave when she’s 6/7months for 2-3 months for Basic training and AIT. Anyone have any experiences with this and any advice. Did your baby forget you/or scared of you when you returned? How to cope? All/any advice welcome. Really not sure where to post this but will post here too.
