Did I ovulate?

We are on our second round of letrozole at 7.5mg and getting ultrasounds to monitor follicles. I went in on Tuesday for an ultrasound and they said it didn’t look like any were big enough to make the trigger shot worth it but wanted to wait until Saturday to confirm. I got a positive ovulation test on Tuesday afternoon and this morning, my temps confirmed ovulation happened on Tuesday. I had a super faint wipe of spotting yesterday evening but nothing since. Could I have ovulated after the appointment even though the follicles were small? If I ovulated before the appointment, would the egg already have left my ovaries which then wouldn’t get picked up on an ultrasound? I’m so confused 🤦🏼‍♀️
