Saying : kids know before we do

Who believes that. That kids know we are pregnant before we do. Me and my husband have been trying but it's been stressful and a little depressing. So I stopped tracking ovulation. We aren't trying but not preventing whole thing. And for 3 days now my son (2 yrs) keeps on randomly crying asking where's the new baby like if hes impatient about something. And then last night he fell asleep rubbing my stomach saying mommy's new baby.

I'm 7 days late but I took a test 4 days ago and it was so negative. My periods are irregular so idk if the 7 day late thing is accurate or not at the moment. But it's been like 8 days since we last baby danced. I dont really think it's a possibility I'm pregnant right now so I dont think the whole your kid knows thing is true.
