Is is safe to use an at home Doppler to listen to baby’s heartbeat? My husband said his ex told him it wasn’t safe 🤔

It's not that its not safe. But it can cause anxiety and worry if you cant find it. Many try to use them too early and fear the worst.

They wouldn’t be sold if they weren’t safe. Drs use dopplers too. OBs I work for say not to use them at home because then it causes unnecessary worry when you can’t find the HB early on.

I’m pregnant with my 6th and have used one with all my pregnancies- nothing bad happened 
I used it in the morning and at bedtime for few seconds to lesson anxiety 
And now that baby is moving all the time I haven’t used it in weeks
