When did you announce your pregnancy?

I’ll barely be 5 weeks on Sunday and I want to tell my family, but so scared for it to go wrong...

We announce as soon as we find out. 5 weeks with my first, I was 4-6 weeks with my 3 miscarriages and 3 weeks with this baby.. I wasn’t afraid to announce early. My miscarriages were nothing to hide.

I tell my family early. If it ends up being a miscarriage I will want there support anyway. But everyone else I wait till 12 weeks

I told my family immediately because when I had a miscarriage, their support was everything to me. For this pregnancy, I wanted the same support regardless. I’m grateful for it, but I can also understand the apprehension to be forthright after miscarriage. I didn’t tell acquaintances until my second trimester, but just about all of my family and closest friends knew immediately.

If the worst happens and something goes wrong, who do you hope will be there to support you in your grief? Tell those people, so they can be your support system no matter what.
If there are people who you really wouldn't want to find out of something bad happened, wait to announce to them until your pregnancy is further along.

15 weeks. We were extra cautious after two miscarriages.

We told our close family members at 5 weeks, but waiting to tell everyone else after 20 weeks

We told family around 9weeks but lost the baby shortly after, with this pregnancy we waited until 13w we brought my daughter to our first trimester ultrasound and she was so excited and wanted to tell everyone she was going to be a big sister.
