Should Gestational Sac show by now?

My first day of my last period was Sept 12 and OPKs say I ovulated on October 2. I got a positive test this past Sunday and Tuesday. i got an ultrasound today (Oct 18) a little earlier than most would because I have history of an ectopic. No gestational sac was showing and I have a cyst on my left side 😭 Should the sac be showing by now, or is my ovulation a little late so it wouldn’t show yet? Kinda freaking that I have an ectopic again 😭😭😭 HALPPPP

You’re only about 4/5 weeks. It’s too early to see anything.

Hcg needs to be above a certain number before anything is visable on an ultrasound, they took my levels before scheduling me for an ultrasound. I had an ultrasound at 5w exactly but only because my hcg levels were high enough that they knew they would be able to see at least the sac to be sure I didnt have an ectopic cause i was at risk. It is not common that they can find anything that early. Dont stress.

Before I had my chemical in September, my doctor wouldn’t even see me until 8 weeks. 
With my second baby I had a miscarriage scare at 6 weeks and they couldn’t even see anything. 
You’re just too early.

Okay thanks ladies you’re putting my mind at ease! Ugh waiting is the worst. Waiting for ovulation, waiting for BFP, waiting for end of first trimester...makes you crazy!

6 weeks onward is when they could maybe tell you Viability. Best to wait until 8 weeks
