Of course toddler has a rash on her belly once the pediatrician closes. Tiny red dots all over her belly and some redness. Isn’t bothering her at all. Any ideas? Wondering if it is eczema?

My daughter had a similar rash in July. It was mostly on her torso and neck. I thought it might be a heat rash then an allergic reaction. It seemed to be spreading so I took her to children's hospital ER and the Dr. said it looked like her body was reacting to fighting off a virus and would clear up wihout any treatment in a couple of days and it did. She had a bit of congestion but no other symptoms and her energy level was normal. Perhaps monitor the rash and if doesn't clear up on its own take your LO to get checked out when the pediatrician's office opens. But if there are other symptoms like extreme fatigue or fussiness then it might be a good idea to go the ER. But I would recommend a children's hospital ER since regular ER doctors are usually not pediatricians.

My son had a rash like that once and it turned out to be scarlet fever.  It showed as a rash a full day before fever or sore throat symptoms.

My bub had a rash like this doc ruled it down to prickly heat rash, folliculitis or just hormonal acne, I just put lotion on his skin and it went away. But always get rashes checked xx
