Why did my period come 12 days early

what the hell😭 and last cycle I had mid cycle spotting so hoping it's just that. Idk what's up with my periods lately. Has this ever happened to anyone??

2 cycles ago mine came a whole 2 weeks early...at first I thought it was ovulation spotting but then it got heavier

Yep. When I was a teen I went to the doctor and got on a very low dose of birth control. It was so low that I could still get pregnant on it. I wasn't sexualy active at that time and it was just a little bit of hormones to help get me on track.
