My daughter is 5 months old and we woke up this morning with her eye kinda red, watery and had some discharge, what could it be?

First of all, she is adorable!!!!! It could be pink eye like other people are saying but it could also be nothing. She could have been rubbing it in her sleep or got an eyelash in in and it got ￼ irritated. Has she been sick at all? Pink eye typically starts with having some sort of cold it doesn’t just all of a sudden pop up in most cases.

Could be pink eye. Warm wash cloths will loosen the crust wash your hands and all bed sheets every night. You can take her to the doctor if you want to but they usually go away after a few days. It’s highly contagious though!
