Mad that I Googled

So I’ve been seeing this guy, it’s long distance and I’m 2 months we’ve seen each other a few times. I seen him last Friday, I parked somewhere and he picked me up because I don’t know the area well. So he agreed to drive. He wanted to go back to his place and I mentioned that I knew his address because I found it online. He’s in the white pages for Pete sake. He texted me today and said that he’s mad because I should have asked for his address instead of finding it online. I asked for it twice by the way because I wanted to send him a care package since we hadn’t see each other in three weeks. We spent time at his house this past Friday so I now know where he lives anyway. But he was still upset it looked him up online.

As I was composing this we talked on the phone and he said he needed space because of trust issues and told me not to loose hope in us.

Should I just cut ties and call it quits? I don’t want to wait for someone to fix themselves even if we seemed perfect for each other.

Edit: I want to clarify....I didn’t go looking for his address. I did a simple google search to make sure he wasn’t a psycho or had like a nasty criminal record. That’s what I was looking for.
