Family fued please read x

Hi!

So basically, background story.

My partner and I have a 6 month old daughter.

We live about 3 hours away ( on a clear road ) from his family.

He moved down here before we even knew each other existed.

Fast forward: me and his mum fell out because I said they haven’t made an effort to visit my daughter. Which is true. In 6 months they haven’t visited once. Not even when she was in NICU.

We’ve visited them every time. Maybe 5 times approx. Now I get that work life gets in the way. But my partner works too, and we managed to get up there and usually do an all around 6 hour journey to them because of stopping for our baby. ( there’s always traffic/ roadworks and I can almost guarantee there’s 1 or 2 crashes ) I care more about seeing them than my partner does.

I am the one who always arranges to visit them.

Now we’ve fallen out big time.. words were said.

I sent an apology message for the sake of my daughter

But his mum has declined it and wants nothing to do with us ...Other than respect her stupid decision ... what can I do??

I’m really annoyed that it’s come to this especially for the sake of my daughter.

She’s young so she won’t know.

But now she’s lost grandparents, 2 uncles and an auntie because of his mums decision
