Dental hygienist

I’m stuck between deciding to go to college for D.H or to get my associates (Will look into BSN) in nursing. I was 100% set on going to school for dental hygiene, until I read up on job outlook. I’m reading an abundance of forums claiming the dental hygienist field is is overflowing and finding a full-time/stable paying job or a job in general is virtually impossibly .. this concerns me as I’m taking my schooling seriously and I have a daughter to support and I really don’t want to go to school all to have to move out of state to find a stable job .. I’m in north east / central east indiana , also.
