Anyone have babies abdominal circumference measuring small?
I have had some complications with my placenta throughout my pregnancy so we are being watched closely. At my last scan at 28 weeks they noticed her abdominal circumference was measuring on the low side of average. We have another scan in a few days (30 weeks + 4) to see if that’s changed. My doctor said if it doesn’t appear to change they may bring her out early as it’s better to come out and be fed properly as opposed to staying in and lacking proper nutrition. I see my doctor next week 31 +1 for the ultra sound results.
Has anyone had this happen and had baby come early? We’re there any complications?
We had a minor placental abruption at 20 wks that thankfully never increased or got worse so we’ve come along way since that first diagnosis. I felt a lot more relief once we past 28 weeks but should I be concerned or would she just be on the small side if she came around 32 weeks?
