Relationship

So this year I just recently got into a relationship like a month and a half ago. I’m like new to everything and my boyfriend recently talked to me about how others feel like he’s the only one putting in effort. The thing Im concerned about is he always talks about how he reaches out blah blah and like I’m not sure if he does in all honesty. Like i even told him this and he disagrees but like I don’t think he does. Like idk:(( any advice? I mean idk
