Skin cancer?

I've had this little red bump on the side of my hip for a few weeks. It hasn't changed in color or size or anything it just hasn't gone away. Sometimes it hurts but it scabs over and can be popped. Should I be concerned?

That's not skin cancer skin cancer is dark n doesn't protrude out of body I have skin cancer on my face n my mom did too but got hers removed that cud b a pimple maybe a cyst not sure but doesn't look like skin cancer

If it can be popped its more likely to be a cyst. Quit popping it. That makes the healing process take a lot longer. If after 4 weeks of not popping it picking it or messing with it it still bleeds on its own AND grows i would suspect basal cell carcinoma vs squamous cell carcinoma. But i dont know your skin history. Blistering sunburns, tanning bed exposure, sun damage to that area. Or age. Putting a topical steroid on it can help with reddness, and taking antibiotics like MinoCycline can help with inflammation.
