Weird period

So my periods are typically 4-5 days long with medium flow until the last day where it’s pretty light. This period is definitely different. Yesterday was day one and I’d say it was medium flow but today has been very light to where it appears to have already ended. Is this something I should be concerned about. We are actively trying so I tested the day before my period started(which was actually the day is was supposed to start) and it was negative and I am bleeding so I don’t think pregnancy is still a possibility, I’m more worried about if I should actually make an appointment over a short period.
