Abnormal Vaginal Bleeding

Hey all!

I’ve been having abnormal bleeding for a while now, since around the beginning of September.

I had a normal period in August, but beginning of September I started spotting and it turned to brown discharge and has continued as brown discharge continually throughout October.

My lower abdomen feels bloated and sensitive.

I went to the OB and did a Pap smear, but haven’t gotten the results yet.

I’ve been cleared of STD’s and infections, my bloodwork came back normal, and I’m not pregnant.

Since I started having sex at 14, I’ve always bled during sex on and off. It would happen occasionally. I never thought anything of it, until this began happening.

I’m 23, and just went to my first gyno appointment for this, and had my first pap. I’m nervous for the results.

What does this sound like? I’m horrified after reading about cervical cancer.
