Jealousy & insecurity?

Okay so my Bf hates the idea of me having any kind of interactions with guys that he deems unecessary. Says that guys can not form innocent friendships with girls and always have hidden intention. Do you think that's okay or it's because they're completely ridiculous. It's a long distance relationship which might play out as a factor. Also would you cut out male friends from your life for the love of your life?

I hate to say this nut in my opinion he is probably right, unless this male friend is someone you have known for a long time and were friends with prior to your relationship most men generally do have another agenda in their mind whether they admit it or not.

I'd call him controlling. I had a social life with whoever I wanted before dating said person, and I will continue to have a social life with whom I want while dating said person. 
Honestly it sounds like he doubts you and is insecure and jealous. All of which are toxic, and will grow overtime with it being a long distance relationship. 
Even if someone has the hots for me my boyfriend knows that I'm not going to hook up with them. He trusts me. It doesn't sound like yours trusts you to control yourself.
