Toddler rail for convertible crib — worth it or not?

My 22 month old climbed out of his crib for the first time this morning so I figure it’s time to start thinking about converting to a toddler bed. I have the Delta 4-in-1 and the toddler rail is an add on. Just trying to decide if it’s worth the $60+ it costs.

We went straight to a twin mattress in the floor for my son.  Not only was the toddler rail not worth the money, but even a toddler bed seemed like a waste to cause they’ll outgrow it too.

We just got one of those! Way cheaper and portable to wherever we are. It’s not as cute but totally works

I just use a pool noodle and it works well.

My first didn't need one because she didn't move a lot in her sleep. My second will definitely need it because that girl moves a LOT in her sleep

I have been looking into options and came to the conclusion that buying a toddler bed is cheaper than buying the rail to convert our crib 🤦🏻‍♀️ at least for our crib.
