Date night and got hit on?

Last night my hubby and I went to a close friend of ours birthday party. Was our first night out since our son was born. My hubby got quite drunk and doesn't remember much of the night. Which kind of left me feeling the odd guy out as I didn't drink much.

A buddy of ours who we were with most of the night, kept making comments about me. Saying how I had a nice ass, that if he went home with me he'd never be limp even if he was drunk (if you know what I mean), just little comments that were weird to hear in front of my husband. Unfortunately, my husband doesn't remember these comments being made as he was too drunk.

I made the mistake of telling my hubby this morning because he asked me what happened last night. My hubby is quite hot headed, so once he heard this he started fuming.

I told him it was fine and that I don't care and plus, our buddy was also drunk.

My husband now wants to confront our friend but I don't think it's worth it.

The thing is, whenever I go out with my husband, which isn't often, he always gets really drunk and it just ruins the night for me because I feel like I have to take care of him as opposed to letting loose and having a good time as well.

I don't know what to do because now my husband and I are in a huge fight because he could tell I was clearly upset about how the night went, and not so much about the comments that were made to me, just how he drank too much and it really bugs me.

My mom is a severe alcoholic and always has been, so I can't stand when my husband gets that drunk. It just makes me uncomfortable and brings back past memories.

Anyways, I feel like I fucked up and shouldn't have said anything to him. But he insisted on knowing how the night went and wouldn't let it go so I gave in and told him. Now he's PISSED. And he's blaming me for not being fun and having a good time. He called me a wet towel and said I was really lame.
