Spotting/Period on the pill

I’m in my second month on Lo Loestrin Fe and when I took the placebos for the first time (two weeks ago) I got some brownish/red spotting for a few days and then it went away. Then a few days later I got what felt like PMS cramps and then I got my “period,” just like red blood for a day and then the brown discharge. It’s just now starting to go away.

I had sex twice since starting the pill, each time didn’t last more than 5 minutes. The first time he didn’t wear a condom but it was for maybe a minute or two. He didn’t finish inside me. The second time we used a condom. I haven’t had any pregnancy symptoms I don’t think.

Is the spotting I’ve had normal for the first 3 months on the pill? I’m just a little paranoid, so any advice will help. Thanks!
