One month old congestion

My one month old was congested when he was born , but now it’s gotten worse. I took him to his pediatrician but they told me everything I was doing , like using saline drops nose frida and etc was fine as long as he didn’t have fever. He is eating good, but he has trouble sleeping due to the congestion, he’s coughing and wheezing. I don’t know what else to do , I’m so upset because I want him to not be congested anymore , my dad keeps telling me they need to do a cleaning of some sort but they told at the doctors they couldn’t do that. I don’t know if anyone else babies were like this and how long did it last ;(
