Miscarriage or Period?

Hi everyone! I recently tested a positive pregnancy at 5 weeks and 3 days using a home test (3 days post wedding!) We were so excited. I was 6 days late on my period it would be my second child. I felt pregnancy symptoms then just last night I started bleeding bright red blood quite a lot no pain though. Did a new test this morning and it said not pregnant! I'm at a loss to know what is going on. Was it a miscarriage or is it my period and I had a false positive in first place 😭 i would be two weeks late on period at this point.
