re-stitching torn perineal stitches?

i had a baby 6 months ago, and a 2nd degree tear. had my regular checkup and everything was fine but now i’m almost positive the stitches didn’t hold, tore, opened back up, something. although it’s obviously healed now, i think it healed open like that, based on the looks of it.

is it possible at all for them to correct this? i guess i just don’t want to sound completely stupid asking if i go in for an appointment. i know it’s not the end of the world, but ideally i’d really like for it to be fixed.

has this happened to anyone else? what was your experience and what did you do?
