Italian Birthday Party

I’m like the family party planner, my younger brother wants an Italian themed birthday party for his 18th, because his favorite kind of food is Italian. So we’re setting the house up to look like a “stereotypical” Italian restaurant, we’re gonna have the table set up nice with candles and everything, white and red checkered table cloth, “wine”, and even place cards for seating. Our plan is to have a three course meal for everyone, our mains are two different kinds of pasta with garlic bread, spaghetti is one and we’re still deciding on the second pasta.

Our entrees are what we’re stuck on. We don’t known if we should do a small salad or mozzarella sticks with marinara sauce. Or maybe any other suggestions you’d have? I was also wondering if its wrong to do a Italian themed party if you’re not Italian? I wouldn’t want to offend anyone and I’m not sure if any of his school friends are Italian or something.
