Baby to low?

Hey mommies I have a question! So I’m reading that by 18 weeks your baby should be right under your belly button based on my ultrasound my baby is nowhere near my belly button yet,is this normal? I am plus sized.

The uterus should be around the same area as your belly button... not baby. The baby will hide wherever until of course you get further along and there’s no space for them to hide. Don’t be concerned im 16 weeks and had my appointment yesterday and my baby was pretty low lol just chilling. I was surprised myself

I’m 18 weeks. Baby is still pretty dang low. I have my anatomy scan tomorrow, so we’ll see what’s going on.

Don't feel bad mama, I'm 25 week's and my son LOVES sitting as low as he can. I even asked my doctor if that was normal and he said yes, most babies just like to sit as low as they can until they are too big and have to move up for more room

I think you’re thinking of your uterus maybe. Baby really just sits wherever they feel like it. Until about 27 weeks, my baby was sitting really low all the time
