HSG-Hysterosalpingogram experience?

Question

So, with my age a factor and 6 months of trying behind us, my doctor has decided to refer me for additional options. My first interest is in HSG. The possibility of naturally helping the process is very appealing. I have two daughters that are a bit older and I know we are both fertile...I see where many have increased fertility after the procedure and my doctor said the same. Anyone have experience with the process?

i got pregnant 3 days after my hsg..i got it done on feb 29th and conceived on march 3rd ..also had sex the same day

I tried for 11 months with no luck, got an HSG, and got pregnant that month. Good luck!

TTC for 2.5 years. Had HSG test last month, and no issues were detected. The doc said that HSG can increase fertility for some people.
I'm 13 DPO, and I think I got a BFP this morning...
Regardless, the HSG was worth it just to rule out tube blockage or other issues so we could move on and determine what may be causing our infertility.

I just had my HSG on 10/17/19 after 10 months of trying. My results came back normal, but within a few hours I was in the ER with excruciating abdominal/pelvic pain and a fever. I ended up with a uterine infection and I just finished my antibiotics. What a horrible experience. 😔 I’m terrified that the infection will make it even harder to conceive.
