Normal??

I had my baby almost a week ago and my milk is just coming in. I met with a lactation consultant before leaving the hospital and she had me start pumping and also supplementing at the breast with those little formula bottles they send you home with. My baby feeds off of me through most of the night and during the day and then into the afternoon he continuously roots so I will supplement with a few ml of formula. His last feed before bed though he is a fiend!!! He will feed off of me for nearly an hour and then continue to root like crazy. Last night he had a full 40 oz plus some of formula in addition to suckling for an hour. Is this normal??? He then sleeps for most of the night so I’ve been pumping to hopefully keep my supply. Any insight would be great!!
