No c- section?

Im 36 weeks and went to the dr yesterday and I was having contractions every 4 minutes, at first they were really serious but then told me I could leave since I had been there so long and nothing progressed.

So i realize that I haven’t came up with a ‘plan’ with my dr. Circumcision hasnt been discussed or anything like that. I don’t know how I want to have the baby but I was leaning toward a c section. I know people seem to hate when people just say they want one but i don’t get why everyone gets so personal about it. I feel like it should be a choice.

But I talk to a nurse while I’m there and she told me the dr doesn’t do c sections unless he has to. That made me even more scared because I felt like super pressured and like I had absolutely no choice and I was already really stressed out. Opinions ? Maybe some reassurance that natural isn’t that bad? Just no hate for wanting a c section lol.
