Relationship with someone you've never met?

Okay so what do you guys think of relationships where the couples have never met in person? Have you ever been in one? And do you consider it real "love" etc.

What about if they're together for more than a year? ✌🏼️

My relationship started long distance, online. It's the most solid and genuine relationship I've ever had. We didn't actually meet until a year after we started dating, and in that year we video chatted and called and streamed movies together, but most importantly we got to know each other. We talked through everything and built a solid foundation on communication. Now we are going on our fourth year together, engaged and happy as can be.

I don't think you can love someone you've never met unless it's your unborn child. You never know if that person is who they say they are. You can't look them in the eye and watch their manarisms and get a generalized feel for the type of person they are.

My best friend met her current boyfriend over Twitter which sounds silly and all but now-a-days with technology, I feel like it's easy! They started but talking on Twitter and getting to know eachother and then they exchanged numbers and after a few weeks they started facetiming every night! They didn't get to meet in person until 4 months after they met on Twitter! And once he visited her they spent a few weeks together in person, going on many dates and such, they decided to make it official and have been happily dating long distance for almost a year now! So I guess it is possible to truly fall in love without meeting the other person, in person!

Me and my husband met on FB! He was still deployed and on the other side of the planet. It was a year before we met in person and we got married right after lol!! In my opinion our love is a deeper love because our relationship is founded on communication. I understand that they're all supposed to be but when you don't let the physical stuff muddle emotions you find the true beauty of your relationship. I thank god every day that I liked that pic. 😍

My relationship with my husband started that way. I don't think I loved him, like fell in love with him until we had spent some actual time together. But I knew he was special from the beginning. 
I think it's possible but I wouldn't personally let myself fall that hard for someone I had never met. We watch that Catfish show and I feel so bad for the people on there who get screwed over.
