38 weeks and I had an appointment today and I’m not dilated at all! And according to the doctor baby’s head is still high. They mentioned induction but I’m really trying to avoid that. I mean I have 2 more weeks sooooooo what’s the rush, right? Has anyone’s doctor told them the same thing at 38 weeks? Should I really be dilating already?

I had my 38 week appointment yesterday and I’m not dilated at all, but he said my cervix is soft. He never mentioned induction. Our bodies will do what they have to do when the time comes! ❤️ I wouldnt worry about induction until after your due date.

You still have like 4 weeks where it could happen. I was 10 days late with my first and they wanted to induce but I didn't want to. It all happened naturally on the 10th day and had a quick 6 hour labour. No need to Interfere unless medically nesessery I say xx

My dr will not induce if you aren’t making any progress on your own, it sets you up for failure to progress and could result in c section anyway. I’d rather wait for things to start on their own.
